Aspen Academy, a K-8 charter school in Savage, began by renting space from a local church. As enrollment grew, it soon became apparent that they would need their own facility. They selected Welsh Construction to build a new, larger space just for them.

The 42,500-square-foot building has 27 classrooms, a special needs center, music room, gymnasium with basketball court, lunchroom with full commercial kitchen and administrative offices.

 

Construction began in August 2012, and was completed in just four months. The new building will allow Aspen Academy to increase their enrollment to approximately 620 students.
