After consolidating from two offices into one, Comcast
wanted to update and modernize their Minneapolis
regional office that serves as a resource for operations
in Minnesota. LSE Architects referred Welsh
Construction to Comcast as the preferred general
contractor.

The project began with extensive demolition work to
prepare the interior of the office to fit the vision for
the renewed space. This included the removal of many
walls and taking out ceilings in order to brighten up
the space and maximize natural light.
The client had a specific vision for the design
elements of the space that would highlight their
branding. The finishes in the building use Comcast’s
primary shades to tie in the brand feel in a clean,
cohesive way.

Other key architectural elements of the space include
a large glass operable wall, lighted acoustical baffels,
and an acoustical die-cut screen wall.
