Lakeview Industries is a family-owned, custom component manufacturer that provides the flexible components a business needs to improve their product quality.

Having outgrown their previous existing facility, they were leasing additional space and wanted to combine the two spaces, modernize their office and have the flexibility to create expansion opportunities in anticipation of growth. Lakeview enlisted Welsh Construction to do a Design/Build delivery, in partnership with Pope Architects, for a brand new, state-of-the-art industrial facility in Carver. The new space consists of 12,907 SF of office, 31,242 SF of manufacturing, 4,151 SF of garage, 54,400 SF of warehouse and an additional 52,487 SF of expansion warehouse space.

The team completed this 155,187-square-foot project in just nine months, enduring one of Minnesota’s wettest seasons to date. The soils on the site were highly moisture sensitive, so cement stabilization was used throughout the site to stabilize the subgrade.

The building has 32’ clear height, a smooth painted precast exterior, glass front private offices, a large two-story reception area, a jointless slab PrimX Composite floor system for the manufacturing floor, 11 dock doors and 3 drive-in doors.
