Premier Eye Care (formerly Bieter Eye Center), a repeat client of Welsh Construction, is an esteemed eye clinic and boutique optical shop in Cottage Grove, MN. Welsh Construction first partnered with the clinic to update their first office space to meet their vision of an upscale, state-of-the-art clinic that maximizes functionality, professionalism, and style. After the nextdoor suite became available, the clinic owners took it over and turned to Welsh again to renovate the space. Welsh worked diligently and collaboratively with the clients as well as subcontractors to complete the space in a timely, thorough fashion while balancing budget. Moreover, the clinic was able to stay partially open during construction, thanks to Welsh’s careful planning and attention to noise.

Some of the most noteable aspects of this project are the high-end design details of the reception area: 5 faux wood beams on the ceiling which also features a striking combination of black and white tiles, and the custom radius reception desks which match the radius soffits above them. 

The full scope of the project included demo, cabinets, supplying and installing new doors and frames, a new glass storefront entry, drywall including the radius soffits, multiple colors of ACT, flooring, painting and wall coverage, plumbing of added and relocated sinks, adjusting and relocating sprinkler heads, the addition of HVAC systems, electrical features and many new light fixtures, the fire alarm system, and a final clean.
